A StoryWalk® is a shared reading experience promoting early literacy, movement and adult-child interaction.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

Children's Room Rules

  • Children under 5 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Children between the ages of 5 and 12 must be signed in by a parent or guardian, aged 16, or older, before leaving them unattended in the children's room.
  • Children between the ages of 5 and 12 left unattended in the children's room may stay for a total of 1 hour per day.
  • Please do not leave the building while your child is unattended in the children's room.
