Anyone wishing to speak should give their name, state if they are a resident, taxpayer, business owner, or utility customer and they will have 5 minutes. Utility customers should only speak on matters concerning those utilities.

F Street Water main Extension

Purchase of parts for the F Street water main extension for $24,991.92.
8.III.

Special Event Permit: Northwest Community Market May 1, 2021

A special event permit application to sponsor a Northwest Community Market on May 1, 2021. This event will require the closing of Lincoln Avenue and B Street from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

8.IV.

Force main extension with Septic to Sewer conversion

Kimley Horne and Associates Engineering services will design the force main extension with a septic to sewer conversion for a neighborhood that has been annexed into the city limit.  The contract has two components, engineering for the design phase and engineering for the construction phase services for a combined amount $234,148.00.
8.V.

PWC Water Plant Chlorination Conversion

The current chlorination system at the PWC treatment plant is currently gas.  The conversion will change it to a much safer application.

Resolution 2021-07 State of Emergency Declaration

Resolution 2021-07 declares a State of Emergency for Lake Wales in response to concerns related to COVID-19. This will be in effect from April 7, 2021 until May 7, 2021.

Resolution 2021-08 Support of the Northwest sidewalk and Street Improvement Project

Resolution 2021-08 confirms Commission support for the Northwest Sidewalk and Street Improvement Project in order to seek possible grant funding.
