Utility Billing COVID19 update


Dear Utility Customer, as of  July 1, 2020 the City of Lake Wales will resume disconnections of utility services for  non-payment. Penalties and non-payment fees will resume being applied as of August 1, 2020. If you are in need of a payment extension, please contact our office to make arrangements. Customers are encouraged to continue to utilize online services for  Utility Billing purposes. If you have any questions, please visit or call Customer Service at:  (863)676-4775.  Utility payments can be mailed to:  P.O. Box 1320 Lake Wales, FL 33859, made online at:  or  placed in the Utility Payment Drop Box located on the East side of the City Administratio n Building. Utility Payments can also be made via the automated phone payment system by calling  the  number listed below. The City of Lake Wales also offers online web chat for any inquiries that you may have. To utilize this service, please visit the City website and choose the chat option on the bottom right hand side of your screen. 

Qualified Polk County residents and small business owners may now apply online for financial assistance  through Polk’s portion of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act grant. The online application process will require residents and business owners to fill out a form, and attach verifying documentation with the application.  Please visit: .
