Good Morning Lake Wales LIVE with Tampa Bay 28

Tampa Bay 28 will be broadcasting live from Market Plaza in downtown Lake Wales as part of their Good Morning Tampa Bay Community tour. You are invited to be part of the crowd celebrating Lake Wales! 

Market Plaza in the downtown historic district will be transformed into a live-television set where the television anchor will broadcast the news.

Three satellite locations will also be featured live. Reporter Sean Daly meets with Lake Wales local Carol Mondello at On the Avenue Boutique & Gifts at 6:15 a.m., Robert Connors at The Thirsty Dragon Tavern at 7:15 a.m. and Gene and Lynette Hofferber at Vibin’ Vinny’s at 9:15 a.m.

The live broadcasts in Market Plaza are scheduled to take place 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Community members interested in participating will be required to sign in at the entry point next to the clock tower on Park Avenue.

The Lake Wales Police Department and the Lake Wales Streets Department will be on location.
