The Lake Wales Public Library will host How to Select & Care for Trees a workshop led by UF/IFAS Extension Polk County Gardening and Landscaping. The one-hour program will be held in the Lake Wales Public Library’s Schoenoff Meeting Room, 2 p.m., Thursday, April 26.
Learn about trees that love our unique landscape and growing zone. Discover when to plant, and how to manage your new sapling in Florida.
This program is in celebration of Arbor Day, April 27. Each registered participant will be given a sapling to plant that is appropriate for our gardening zone.
