Frozen Backflow Preventer

Residents and business owners experiencing a loss of water may have a frozen above-ground backflow preventer. The device will unfreeze as the outdoor temperature rises. Rest assured, the City’s utilities department confirmed water is flowing properly. 

It is the goal of the City of Lake Wales to ensure that the services we provide are as accessible for individuals with disabilities as they are for individuals without disabilities.
