Clean Up Event

The Code Compliance Division for the City of Lake Wales in Partnership with Keep Polk County Beautiful!

Present their Fourth Annual Dump your Junk Event.

Bring your unwanted and discarded items to the event site for free.

Important: Bring Help! Staff cannot assist with unloading.

Date: Saturday March 28, 2026

Time: 8am - 12pm

Location: 450 Scenic Hwy, Lake Wales FL

Items Allowed:

· Furniture · Drained Appliances · Construction Debris

Items Not Allowed:

· Tires · Yard Debris · Hazardous Waste (liquids, chemicals, paints, batteries)

· Industrial Waste · Infectious Waste · Food Waste

Volunteers

City Residents come and volunteer to pick up trash and litter from the Public City Areas.

We will have supplies for you or you may bring our own (trash bags, gloves, grabbers, buckets).

Volunteers will get a Tshirt and Bok Tower Tickets while supplies last.
