City of Lake Wales proclaims Ace Outlaw Recognition Day, May 17, 2022

The City of Lake Wales proclaims May 17, 2022 as Ace Outlaw Recognition Day. Mayor Hilligoss presented the proclamation to Ace Outlaw during Tuesday’s commission meeting. With a total lift of 600lbs, Outlaw was named the Florida High School Athletic Association  (FHSAA) State Champion 2A, and the best weightlifter in the 2A Division at the FHSAA Meet in April. Outlaw was also crowned the Polk County Champion, the District Champion 2A-13, Regional Champion 2A-3. Outlaw is a junior at Lake Wales High School with a 3.0 grade point average.
