The City of Lake Wales congratulates Mark J. Bennett, Director of Development Services, for being selected to join the board of the Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA).
“This is a nice compliment to Mark’s 30 years of experience in urban planning, zoning, and redevelopment. He is helping us spearhead the Lake Wales Connected Plan that is going to revitalize the Historic Downtown District and Northwest Neighborhood into an area people will embrace,” said City Manager James Slaton.
The FRA is comprised of a variety of professionals who engage in preserving and improving Florida’s urban areas.
Bennett is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and previously served on the Community Redevelopment Advisory Committee.
