New cathedral live oaks and Japanese blueberry trees rest along Sessoms Avenue

City Administration Posted on August 06, 2022

Parks & Horticulture staff spent Friday morning planting five Japanese blueberry trees and four additional cathedral live oaks in Crystal Lake Park along Sessoms Ave.

The planting was a continuation of the City’s efforts started on Arbor day. It’s the City’s goal to establish an urban canopy across the city as part of the “City in a Garden” concept.

It is the goal of the City of Lake Wales to ensure that the services we provide are as accessible for individuals with disabilities as they are for individuals without disabilities. The City of Lake Wales is working diligently to ensure our electronic documents, forms, and web page content meet or exceed the WCAG 2. 0 Level AA and federally mandated accessibility standards. If you have questions or require additional information, please contact the City Clerk at records@lakewalesfl.gov.
