Lake Wales High School Football Team Recognition Day

WHEREAS, the Head Coach of the Lake Wales High School Football Team is TaVaris Johnson; and

WHEREAS, the Lake Wales High School Football Team had a 2022 season record of 15-0; and

WHEREAS, the Lake Wales High School Football Team are Class 3S State Champions for 2022; and

WHEREAS, the State Championship game was played on Friday December 16th; and

WHEREAS, the 2022 Lake Wales High School Football Team won the 1st Football State Title in the history of the program and School.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jack Hilligoss, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of Lake Wales, in the State of Florida, do hereby proclaim February 7, 2023 as LAKE WALES HIGH  SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM RECOGNITION DAY
