Hydrant Flushing

Over the next three months, the City of Lake Wales Water Department will start flushing the city’s fire hydrants, starting March 27. If you notice a fire hydrant releasing large amounts of water during this timeframe, don’t be alarmed. It’s part of an annual preventive maintenance activity that verifies proper operation of the hydrants.

It is the goal of the City of Lake Wales to ensure that the services we provide are as accessible for individuals with disabilities as they are for individuals without disabilities.
