Sixth Annual Juneteenth Event and Luncheon

The sixth annual Juneteenth event and luncheon at the J.P. Austin Community Center was packed with adults and kids. Former mayor Eugene Fultz was the master of ceremonies and presented speaker Leroy Smith, a representative with the NAACP. “We’re all part of the human race,” Smith said. The event was hosted by the Dr. Joseph A. Wiltshire Scholarship Foundation.
