City staff received the GFOA Distinguished Budget Award

City staff received the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its annual budget. The award represents a significant achievement by City staff. It reflects the commitment of the governing body and staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, the City satisfied nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. This is the fourth consecutive year staff received the award. 

It is the goal of the City of Lake Wales to ensure that the services we provide are as accessible for individuals with disabilities as they are for individuals without disabilities. The City of Lake Wales is working diligently to ensure our electronic documents, forms, and web page content meet or exceed the WCAG 2. 0 Level AA and federally mandated accessibility standards.
