Community Open House: NW Neighborhood Sidewalk & Streetscape Project

City Administration Posted on August 02, 2024

Citizens in the northwest neighborhood will soon have access to new sidewalks with new landscape and street trees on select streets. Join us on August 22 at 6pm at the B Street Community Center to learn about the project. Citizens will get the chance to ask questions and hear from City staff and project consultants. Construction plans include rehabilitating preexisting sidewalks. New sidewalks will be added along established streets without sidewalks. The improvements will help improve pedestrian safety. It’s action step number 11 in the City’s Lake Wales Connected Plan.
