The Lake Wales Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is actively seeking a talented, experienced and original artist to paint one of our underpasses.
The CRA will provide a payment of $10,000 to the artist chosen; nothing above $10,000 will be contributed. This payment will cover painting both the left and right side of the underpass.
We ask that you submit a visual portfolio of your work along with a quick sketch of your mural idea. The subject matter must be related to Lake Wales.
Please submit your visual portfolio and resume to crainfo@lakewalesfl.gov, no later than 5 P.M. on February 25, 2022
An artist will be chosen through a selected art committee that will complete evaluations. With the aim of supporting local artists, preferred ranking will be given to any artist from Lake Wales.
