It's time for City of Lake Wales’ business owners to renew their Business Tax Receipt.

Business Tax Receipts are due and payable on or before September 30th of each year beginning July 1st of each year, and expire on September 30th of the succeeding year.

Debit or credit card payments may be made over the phone by calling (863) 676-5112 ext. 715 (Visa or Mastercard).  Check payments may be mailed to 201 Central Ave W, Lake Wales, FL 33853 ATTN: Building Department.

Business Tax Receipts that are not renewed when due and payable are delinquent and subject to a delinquency penalty of 10% for the month of October, plus an additional 5% penalty for each subsequent month of delinquency until paid, not to exceed 25%.
