The City of Lake Wales is preparing a land use study for the utility service area outside the City limits. Join us at the public forum on Monday, September 26 at 6 p.m., located at the James Austin Community Center.
The project team will present recommended land use scenarios based on information collected through public engagement and the online survey. The purpose of the Land Use Study is to provide an assessment of the utility service area surrounding Lake Wales (land in unincorporated Polk County beyond Lake Wales City limits) for future annexations requested by property owners (areas of land outside City limits requested to become part of the City of Lake Wales).
