Waste and recycling temporarily suspended

The solid waste company for Lake Wales, Republic Services will suspend waste and recycling services on Wednesday, September 28 through Thursday, September 29 due to Hurricane Ian. City staff recommends securing trash and recycling containers. These items may become a projectile during a storm.

It is the goal of the City of Lake Wales to ensure that the services we provide are as accessible for individuals with disabilities as they are for individuals without disabilities. The City of Lake Wales is working diligently to ensure our electronic documents, forms, and web page content meet or exceed the WCAG 2. 0 Level AA and federally mandated accessibility standards.
