Park Avenue Connected Trail, New Plants Added

City Administration Posted on March 16, 2023

More Florida-friendly plants were added to the Park Avenue Connector Trail. City staff in the Parks & Horticulture planted various plants, such as purple love grass, blue-eyed grass, milkweed and Atlantic St. John's wort.

The Park Avenue Connector Trail is a 3,000-foot multiuse trail that connects Lake Wailes Park to the downtown historic district. It’s designed to link residents and visitors to area establishments through a botanical-rich environment.
