Hurricane Milton Trash Pick-Up

Republic Services has informed the City that trash pick-up services will resume.

 

- Thursday collections will be picked up today, October 11.

 

- Friday collections will be picked up Saturday, October 12.

 

Collections will be solely trash, as Republic Services will not be able to process recycling until power is restored in facilities.  

It is the goal of the City of Lake Wales to ensure that the services we provide are as accessible for individuals with disabilities as they are for individuals without disabilities. The City of Lake Wales is working diligently to ensure our electronic documents, forms, and web page content meet or exceed the WCAG 2. 0 Level AA and federally mandated accessibility standards.
