Public Notice: Upcoming Workshop – Lake Wales Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion (SRF# WW5303H)

The City of Lake Wales will host a public workshop on June 25, 2025, to present and discuss the planned expansion of the Lake Wales Wastewater Treatment Plant under State Revolving Fund Project SRF# WW5303H.

This expansion is a key component of the City’s Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Master Utility Plan and is necessary to accommodate anticipated community growth. As part of the planning process, the City has evaluated three treatment alternatives to determine the most effective path forward.

The purpose of this workshop is to:

  • Share information about the project

  • Seek public input and community feedback

  • Inform the selection of a preferred alternative for design and funding

Community members are encouraged to attend and participate. Public engagement is vital to ensuring the selected solution aligns with the needs and vision of Lake Wales.
